Designer: Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl.

With its geometric and strict lines, the Column Table is inspired by the forms of classical architecture – columns and pillars. Its design aims to create a simple, universally applicable side table. Due to its compact size, it easily blends into various interior solutions: it fits perfectly next to a lounge chair, pairs well with other tables by the sofa, or in the living area. The minimalist design allows the Column Table to also function as a standalone accent in the interior – like a sculpture or a distinct object.

Main information:

Color: white / cream / coffee

Material: Fiber concrete

Dimensions: Length 25 cm / Width 25 cm / Height 50 cm

Weight: 12.5 kg

Materials:

Fiber concrete

Inspired by mid-20th century brutalist architecture, fiber concrete has become a distinctive material feature of the 101 Copenhagen furniture collection. Highlighting sculptural forms, this material creates a subtle balance between strict architectural lines and gentle organic curves. The product's shape is cast from lightweight fiber concrete, giving each piece a unique surface with fine texture irregularities. The surface is coated with a protective layer that ensures the product's durability and longevity. Finally, each product is hand-painted twice with a brush, creating a layered, soft color.

Care:

Wipe with a soft dry cloth.

Do not use household cleaners.

Not frost resistant (for indoor use only).

Important:

Avoid sharp objects that may damage the surface.

Do not store for long periods at extremely high temperatures or in direct sunlight.

Due to high humidity, the product may absorb moisture, becoming softer and more fragile.

Due to temperature fluctuations, fiber concrete may expand or contract – this can cause cracks or deformations.

For daily cleaning, use a dry or damp cloth to remove dust or dirt. Do not use cleaners with acids – they may damage the product's surface.

How beautiful decorative elements, luxurious coffee tables can connect several space elements into one harmonious whole. With their help, a continuity is created between the main dining and living room furniture, dominant color or texture accents, attention is given to forms and additional core ideas. PALERMO, LAGO, FOUR LEG and other collections – quality coffee tables from Unminimal.lt can be the choice that adds more charm to outdoor or indoor spaces.
In smaller indoor spaces, a round coffee table or an elongated shape option can also serve as a dining table. Typically, such a table by the sofa creates a harmonious flow between leisure zones and functional spaces.

How to choose the right coffee table for your living room?

A great coffee table is both a functional piece of furniture and a stylish decorative element. When choosing, consider the aesthetics of the room. Wooden coffee tables (or those with wooden elements) provide a warmth and natural effect, while glass coffee tables or those with a glass top visually expand the space and add modernity.
Then you can think about colors and the color palette that would suit best. For example, a black coffee table exudes elegance and carries a certain drama. Designers suggest matching the table's material and finish with existing furniture, as only then will the image be cohesive and the details will harmoniously complement each other.

Choosing the size and shape of the coffee table according to the room space

The size and shape should match your room's layout. In smaller spaces, choose a round or oval table, perhaps with glass, to create flow and harmony without sharp edges and bold barriers.

In larger rooms, rectangular or square coffee tables look charming. They will serve as a focal point. Ensure that the height of the table is proportional to the height of the seating. It’s best to orient towards the height of the sofa's seating area or look for tables that are slightly lower than the sofa. Let’s be honest with ourselves – when relaxing, there might be a desire to put your feet up, so the table must also accommodate that.

Material differences: which coffee table to choose for durability and style?

All large or small coffee tables in the Unminimal.lt online store have their product page. There, dimensions and important technical information are provided. High-resolution photos and visualizations help to see how the table would look in different style interiors or exteriors.

Wooden, metal or glass coffee tables: advantages and disadvantages

Wooden coffee tables are durable and versatile. Wood fits almost everywhere and always, but it may require a bit more maintenance, and you cannot avoid scratching.
Metal tables look modern, and metal, as everyone knows, is durable and resistant to damage. However, the aesthetic of metal symbolizes industrial coldness and prioritizes functionality. It is a durable material, but it certainly does not fit all styles.
Glass – it is luxury, elegance, which provides a spacious effect, thus ideally suited for small rooms or terraces, but they need to be cleaned often. Additionally, glass is sensitive to damage.

How to match the coffee table design to the interior style?

First, you need to identify the interior style or dominant motifs. Scandinavian coffee tables will look best in minimalist, modern, or rustic type interiors. Meanwhile, Italian or more detailed coffee tables fit better with interiors that have many details, a synthesis of different styles, or traditional aesthetics.
You should also look at the silhouette of the furniture, the profile, and the overall design language. Sharp lines – modern, bold, for those who are not afraid of uniqueness. Sleek and smooth – classic, timeless. Moreover, if the space is not very large or if planning is a concern, we recommend choosing tables with thinner legs.
